Children and Infant Apparel


You can speed up the process of your buy and sell more items if you place two piece outfits together and have your apparel neatly folded, lying flat or on a hanger when you arrive.
  • We buy clothing that is current in style, in like new condition with no signs of wear.
  • Preemie, newborn to size 8. Sizes 10 and above are sold in our Teen section.
  • Must be clean, pressed and on a hanger or neatly folded if it does not wrinkle.
  • Outfits with more than one piece must be put together.
  • We do not buy separate sizes newborn to 9 months. We buy some separates in size 12 months. Infant clothing sells better as an outfit.
  • We do not buy one piece garments that need a shirt to be worn, unless the shirt accompanies the one piece.
  • We do not buy clothing that has been altered.
  • Current style usually means purchased within the last two years.
  • Shoes, sandals and boots must show no signs of wear.
  • Better name brands are most desired. Discount and economy brands are not accepted.
  • Costumes, coats and pajamas are not accepted.

Appointments are preferred but not required. We can give you better customer service if we can staff according to our buying schedule. Please feel free to call to ask questions about any items that you are not sure about bringing in. We ask that items be brought in on hangers or neatly folded because we take items with the intention of tagging them and putting them on the sales floor immediately. We process buys until 30 minutes prior to closing. If you need special arrangements to bring things in the last 30 minutes of the day, please call so that we can make arrangements to accommodate you.

 

Sign in when you come in with your items. Our staff will enter the details into our computer to create an offer for those items we would like to purchase. We encourage you to shop while we process your buy, however, you may drop off your items after you have checked in and return before the close of the business day.

Once your items are processed and entered into our computer for pricing, we hope you take our offer, however, if you are not satisfied, you may take your items back. If you accept our offer, all purchases are final and we will proceed to put the items out for sale. Consignment items accept must stay for the time specified in the contract.

You can speed up the process of your buy and sell more items if you place together (put them in a bag or box) all parts/pieces that came with the item when purchased and check all items for cleanliness.

Cribs (no drop side cribs)

All furniture must have original hardware, meet current safety standards and be in good condition. We do not buy any items that have ever been recalled, even if they have been retrofiited.

 

Drop side cribs have been the main focus of majority of the recent crib recalls. Most manufacturers have stopped making drop side cribs because of potential safety concerns. Although your drop side crib has not been recalled as of this date, we have chosen to err on the side of caution and decline to buy any used drop side cribs.
